Today our adventures take us on a whirlwind adventure through our nation's capitol:
Washington, DC.

Here we are in front of the White House (obviously the Family wasn't home).
We found ourselves in DC two years ago (2006) for the Fall semester. I did an internship as part of my undergraduate work at the Senate Republican Conference. We had the chance to live and work in DC and here are some of our adventures:

Here we are at Great Falls (yes, they consider this to be a "great" fall).

And here we are in front of where presidential inaugurations take place and where billions of our taxpayer dollars are given to businesses who make bad business decisions, (Hey Congress, could you take care of my credit card payments too?)

Michelle and I in front of Thomas Jefferson (or as I like to call him "The author of the Declaration of Independence").

I bet you didn't know the White House had a doorbell, did you?
Here's a great view of the National Mall from atop the Washington Monument. The fam got to climb to the top. I, on the other hand was stuck in class (seriously, who has class on Veteran's Day?)

The family (minus Linds) came out to visit in November and here they are in front of the Treasury Building.

Yep, this is the Evans family.
