Where in the world is Jon? Part II

Continuing our 87 part series documenting the world travels of Jon, and in conjunction with the holiday season, our next stop is one of the most fascinating places in all the world:
The North Pole!!!!

Okay, it's not really the North Pole, it's somewhere much cooler than that (pun intended). It's none other than my parent's backyard on Christmas Day 2007. That's right, this picturesque, snowy landscape was found in Topeka, Kansas. Now, I could probably show about a million pictures of me in Topeka, after all I grew up there. However, for the sake of blog space, I decided to only post pictures from that wintery day last year.

What's that they said about the "skies are not cloudy all day?" I tell you, you can't get sunsets like you do in Kansas in some place with junk (i.e. mountains) blocking the way.

So there it is, a little slice of Topeka, Kansas, and if anyone wants I'm sure I can dig up more pictures somewhere. Til next time.

These pics are cool. I like seeing the places you traveled. Kansas looks fun. All that snow on Christmas would be awesome. It like hardly ever snows here anymore.
